Crooked Run Cottage is located on ten pristine acres in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Located near Interstate 81 and 70 miles west of Washington D.C., we have easy access to Dulles, Reagan and BWI Airports. Not far north from Harrisonburg, we are a very
small in home breeder with only a couple of litters a year.
A deposit of $500 is required to hold a puppy. No deposits will be accepted until after a litter is born. Deposits are only refundable if the puppy is deemed to be in poor health or unfit for sale.
All puppies come with a one year health guarantee against any congenital, life threatening defects.
A sales agreement and registration papers will be provided to the buyer when the puppy is transferred to its new owner.
We do not ship our puppies in the cargo area of any airlines. For a reasonable fee, a courier is available to travel with a puppy in the cabin. For shorter distances, every effort will be made to work out a travel arrangement that will be satisfactory to both the buyer and seller.
Puppies will not be available for adoption until they are at least eight weeks of age, depending upon their physical and emotional maturity.

Our Mi-Kis are registered with Mi-Ki Breeders USA, Inc., which is a nationally recognized association and registry for the original purebred Mi-Ki.
Since retention of the original purebred lines is the association's highest priority, the register is closed.
The association and its elite breeders support the concept that their Mi-Kis share a heritage with the Maltese, Japanese Chin, and Papillon. Both the long and smooth coat Mi-Kis equally represent the breed standards.
